Read and Respond to Everyday Use

The goal of this assignment is to: analyze and describe how an author develops characters

Monday:

  1. Read text and summarize the experiences of people involved in the African American movement
  2.  Analyze text using text evidence

Tuesday:

Make a chart of the play’s major characters. In one column, list adjectives that could describe them. In another, list words that describe the conflicts they face.

Wednesday:

Everyday Use Level questions 

Thursday:

Create a quilt in response to Everyday Use
